April'20 - Christian Easter |
One of the most important Christian holidays is coming. Russian Orthodox Easter and the Catholic Easter will be celebrated on the same day this year. Easter Sunday is one of the most festive events among Christians world.
Easter Eggs symbolize fertility, renewal and life. The oldest tradition is to use painted chicken eggs, but a modern custom is to substitute eggs made from chocolate or plastic eggs filled with candy.
The traditional Russian Easter dishes are Paskha (a rich and very sweet cheese pudding) and kulich (Easter cake). Both Paskha and kulich are taken to the church where they are blessed.
The traditional Easter greeting is “Christ is risen!” and the response is “In truth He is risen!”.
Dear Customers, Celebrate this Easter with a heart filled with love and peace. Have a blessed and wonderful Easter!
