2009 year will become the year of definition of 7 wonderful tourist routes for Euro - 2012.
The decision was accepted during the session of Ukrainian Organizing committee of «7 miracles of Ukraine» which took place in October, 29th.
The action “7 wonderful tourist routes of Ukraine” will start from the 1st of November.
According to the initiator of the project and chairman of organizing committee Nikolay Tomenko, at the first stage of this action regional managements of tourism, and also travel agencies and experts in the field of tourism will offer the possible tourist routes which will endure 1-2 days (so-called " routes of the day off ") which would be interesting both for Ukrainians, for foreign tourists during carrying out in Ukraine of the ending of the Championship of Europe of football in 2012.
At the second stage of the action the organizing committee together
with experts in the field of tourism will determine 21 best routes.
Then 7 wonderful tourist routes of Ukraine will be elected by experts and Internet – voting.
The announcement of winners should take place on September, 27, 2009, in the World day of tourism and Day of tourism in Ukraine.
